Alison Kaufman is a born networker who has spent her entire career connecting and helping others by bringing the right service or product to the right person. Her background in sales and marketing spans three states with experience in client relations, strategic partnership development and marketing and event activation. She is a high-energy team player known for building brand awareness and driving increased revenue.
Alison worked as the director of sales and brand strategy for Remington Family Distillers’ Caffe Del Fuego liquor in Austin, Texas, for three years.
Alison has experience in all aspects of hospitality, from bartending to representing major brands such as Grey Goose, Patron and Elijah Craig. Alison worked behind bar at the legendary Broken Spoke in Austin and in New York, where she grew up.
As an independent consultant in New York, Alison represented a cross-section of companies including wine and spirits brands and technology start-ups in social networking and events.
Alison holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a master’s degree in special education from Hunter University in New York, both of which shape her ability to be an entrepreneur.
“Sales is all about educating my client and building relationships and working with all different types of people to help them attain the goal they desire,” she says.
As a brand ambassador for The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley, Alison continues her professional involvement in the hospitality industry, connecting chefs and bartenders with products that will help them grow their businesses.
“My role is to find the right fit for the restaurant and the product because we want both of them to be successful,” she says.
Alison belongs to the Colorado Restaurant Association.
When not at work, Alison enjoys bringing people together, exploring new concepts in the restaurant industry and having new adventures. She can also be found working with charities to help her community.
