Inspiration:

This cocktail was Inspired by my childhood memories. In the summertime, a popsicle salesman regularly visited the street I lived on. They would make fresh popsicles for the neighborhood kids by crushing ice and adding our preferred flavors. This memory invigorated me to create a cocktail that could be consumed similarly. Although this cocktail can be drunk right out of the glass, the best way to enjoy this cocktail is by dipping an ice popsicle into the drink and enjoying a flavored alcoholic ice popsicle.

Ingredients:

• 1 ¼ oz. The Perfect Purée Strawberry Puree, thawed
• ¾ oz. The Perfect Purée Passion Fruit Concentrate, thawed
• 2 oz. Don Julio Reposado Tequila
• ¾ oz. orange liqueur
• ½ oz. fresh lime juice
• pinch of black salt

Method:

1. Rim glass with The Perfect Purée Strawberry Puree andThe Perfect Purée Passion Fruit Concentrate.
2. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake hard and pour into glass.
3. Garnish the glass with a crushed ice popsicle dipped in half The Perfect Purée Strawberry Puree and half The Perfect Purée Passion Fruit Concentrate.

How to Drink:

1. Dip chuski (ice popsicle) into the cocktail and taste.
2. Take a sip from the chilled glass.
