• | 2 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon |
• | 1 oz. The Perfect Purée Red Raspberry Puree, thawed |
• | 1 oz. fresh lemon juice |
• | 1 oz. Vanilla Bean Grenadine |
• | 5 mint leaves (muddle) |
• | lemon wheel (garnish) |
• | mint sprig (garnish) |
Method: | |
1. | In a mixing glass add fresh lemon juice, vanilla bean grenadine and 5-6 mint leaves. Muddle contents then add Woodford Reserve, Raspberry Puree and ice. Shake then double strain into chilled, iced rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a mint sprig. |
Vanilla Bean Grenadine: | |
• | 1 cup The Perfect Purée Pomegranate Concentrate, thawed |
• | 1 cup sugar |
• | 1 split half vanilla bean |
Method: | |
1. | Simply add 1 cup of Pomegranate Concentrate and 1 cup of sugar to a sauce pan. Add 1 split half of vanilla bean and press bean with muddler. Bring mixture to a boil. Lower heat and reduce for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Double strain and store for later use. |
