Cilantro Lime Rice Ingredients: | |||
• | 1 heaping tablespoon The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley Lime Zest, thawed | ||
• | 1 cup basmati rice, washed | ||
• | 1 3/4 cup water | ||
• | 1 tbsp. lime juice | ||
• | 2 tbsp. cilantro chopped | ||
• | 2 tsp. butter | ||
• | 1 tsp. salt | ||
Method: | |||
1. | Boil rice and place the lid on and turn the heat to medium for 20 minutes. Place on low heat for 10 minutes. Let it rest for ten minutes no heat and five minutes without lid on. | ||
2. | Add lime zest purée, cilantro, lime juice, butter, and salt. | ||
3. | Slowly use a fork to fluff the rice while incorporating the add ins. | ||
4. | Pair with a beautifully cooked American wagyu steak, and Lime zest chimichurri. | ||
Lime Zest Chimichurri Ingredients: | |||
• | 1 tbsp. The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley Lime Zest, thawed | ||
• | 3 tbsp. olive oil | ||
• | 2 tbsp. sherry vinegar | ||
• | 1 tsp. salt | ||
• | 1 tsp. red chili flakes | ||
• | 1 tsp. black pepper | ||
