For the Cocktail: | |
• | 1 3/4 oz. Orange Infused Steel Dust Vodka |
• | 1/4 oz. Five Spice Yellow Chartruese |
• | 3/4 oz. The Perfect Purée Yuzu Luxe Sour blend, thawed |
• | 3/4 oz. Spiced Cranberry Syrup |
• | 1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice |
For the Orange Infused Steel Dust Vodka: | |
• | 200ml Steel Dust Vodka |
• | 1 orange peel |
Method for the Orange Infused Steel Dust Vodka: | |
1. | Combine all ingredients and infuse for 48 – 72 hours. |
2. | Strain and store in an airtight container. |
For the Spiced Cranberry Syrup: | |
• | 1 oz. vodka |
• | 1 cup sugar |
• | 1 cup boiled water |
• | 1 lb. fresh cranberries |
• | 2 star anise |
• | 4 allspice berries |
Method for the Spiced Cranberry Syrup: | |
1. | Combine sugar, water and cranberries in a pot. |
2. | Add star anise and allspice. |
3. | Bring to a simmer and let simmer for 15 minutes. |
4. | Strain into a container and stir in vodka. |
For the Five-Spice Yellow Chartreuse: | |
• | 200ml Yellow Chartreuse |
• | 1 tsp. Chinese Five-Spice |
Method for the Five-Spice Yellow Chartreuse: | |
1. | Combine ingredients and let infuse for 24 hours. |
2. | Strain through a paper coffee filter and store in an airtight container. |
Method for the Cocktail: | |
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain over a large ice cube in your favorite cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick. | |
