Grilled Beef Brochette with Curried Green Apple Sauce

Ingredients for Grilled Beef Brochette with Curried Green Apple Sauce:

  • 12 oz. The Perfect Purée Green Apple Puree, thawed
  • 4-5 oz. The Perfect Purée Sweet Ginger, thawed
  • 3 lbs. beef sirloin steak or boned, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3-inch strips
  • bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 3 hours
  • 6 oz. peanut butter
  • 4 – 6 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. bottled hot pepper sauce, to taste

Method for Grilled Beef Brochette with Curried Green Apple Sauce:

  1. Preheat broiler or grill. Thread meat onto skewers, ribbon-like. Place on lightly oiled broiler pan or grill. Broil or grill for 5-8 minutes, turning once.
  2. In a food processor, place remaining ingredients, cover and process until smooth.

Flavor Twists:

This sauce is also excellent with The Perfect Purée White Peach, Apricot, or Mango.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve skewered beef or chicken with small bowls of sauce for dipping. If serving as a main course, serve rice.
