Korean BBQ Meatballs

½ cup sauce for 18 meatballs

Ingredients for Plum Gochu BBQ Sauce:
• 1/3 cup Plum Gochu Syrup
• ¼ cup Banchan BBQ Sauce
• 2 tbsp. Gochugaru (red pepper powder)
• 2 tablespoons of cornstarch (which we have in the cabinet) + water

Method for Plum Gochu BBQ Sauce:
• Combine Plum Gochu Syrup, Banchan sauce and Gochagaru.
• Heat until the sauce has warmed throughly.
• On the side, make a cornstarch slurry- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1/3 C water- mix this.
• Once slurry is mixed well, start slowly pouring into BBQ sauce mix until the sauce has thickened.
