New Product Launch of Lime Zest

Milk Chocolate Almond & Lime Cookies

1 oz. The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley Lime Zest, thawed
6 oz. milk chocolate
1 oz. unsalted butter
1 egg
3 oz. granulated sugar
1 oz. lime juice
4 oz. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1. Melt the milk chocolate and butter together over a double boiler or in the microwave.
2. Whisk together the egg, sugar, lime juice, and Lime Zest.
3. Blend into the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
4. Sift together the flour and baking powder.
5. Blend into the rest of the ingredients to form a dough. It will be loose.
6. Cover with plastic wrap touching the surface and chill for at least 4 hours.
7. Scoop into 1 oz. portions and roll in powdered sugar.
8. Place on a lined sheet tray and press a little cluster of sliced almonds on the top.
9. Bake at 325°F 12-15 minutes until the centers feel set.
10. Cool and enjoy!
