• | 1 oz. Hangar 1 Vodka |
• | 1/2 oz. Lexington Bourbon |
• | 3/4 oz. The Perfect Purée White Peach Puree, thawed |
• | 1/2 oz. lemon juice |
• | 1/2 oz. Honey Ginger Syrup |
• | 3 dashes Scrappy’s Orange Bitters |
• | orange twist (garnish) |
• | honeycomb (garnish) |
• | grated cinnamon (garnish) |
Method: | |
1. | Build the vodka, bourbon, The Perfect Purée White Peach Puree, lemon juice, honey ginger syrup and orange bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly until chilled. Double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a long orange twist (that is tied into a knot), a piece of honeycomb and grated cinnamon. |
Honey Ginger Syrup: | |
• | 1 cup local honey |
• | 1 cup water |
• | 1 oz. grated ginger |
Method: | |
1. | To make the syrup, combine 1 cup local honey with 1 cup water and 1 oz. grated ginger in a small pot. Bring to a gentle boil and allow to simmer for 10 minutes; swirl occasionally. Strain through cheesecloth and allow to cool before use. |
