• | 1 1/2 oz. Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum |
• | 1 1/2 oz. Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth |
• | 1/4 oz. Pomegranate Grenadine (recipe below) |
• | 1 dash of Absinthe |
• | lemon twist (garnish) |
Method: | |
1. | Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir about 30 times. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and season the outside of the glass with a lemon twist, then garnish with twist. |
Pomegranate Grenadine: | |
• | 1 cup The Perfect Purée Pomegranate Concentrate, thawed |
• | 1 cup water |
Method: | |
1. | In a 2 quart pot combine 1 cup of Pomegranate Concentrate with 1 cup water and set on medium heat. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes then remove from heat. Wait another 10 minutes then incorporate 2 cups sugar. Will keep refrigerated in a sealed container for 4-6 weeks. |
