Red Jalapeño Pizza Sauce

 • 1 tbsp. The Perfect Purée Red Jalapeño Puree, thawed
    • 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
 • 6 oz. tomato paste
    • 15 oz. tomato sauce
    • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    • 1 tbsp. red wine
    • Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and onions and sauté until onions are soft.
2. Add all ingredients and let the sauce simmer.
3. Place on top of store bought or fresh pizza dough.
