Rojo Margarita de Tamaulipas

1 drink

    • 2 1/2 oz. The Perfect Purée Red Sangria,  thawed
    • 1 oz. Chinaco Reposado Tequila
    • 1/2 oz. Luxardo Triplum Triple Sec
    • 1/2 lime
    • 1 red pepper wheel
    • 1/2 oz. simple syrup
    • salt & pepper for rimmer
1. In a mixing glass, muddle the red pepper with the Red Sangria. Add the Chinaco, Luxardo, lime and simple syrup to the glass. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled ice glass. Garnish with salt and pepper rimmer. Serve.
For a drier cocktail, decrease simple syrup to 1/4 oz.
