Summer Iced Tea

7 cups

Pastry Chef Jessica Buscher (IG @jessicabuscher)

Ingredients for Summer Iced Tea:

• 1 cup Silver Needle white tea
• ⅔ cup Tastecraft Whole Raspberries
• 4 Tastecraft Lemon Slices
• 1 tbsp. dried ginger
• 3 cups water
• ½ cup sugar
• ⅓ cup honey
• 4 cups ice water

Method for Summer Iced Tea:

1) In a bowl mix together the tea, raspberries, lemons, and ginger. Break down any large pieces of fruit, this will help with the steeping process later.
2) In a pot bring 3 cups of water to 180°F. Remove from heat and add the tea mix.
3) Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
4) Strain your tea into a bowl and whisk in the sugar and honey until fully dissolved.
5) Pour over the 4 cups of ice water.
6) Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Variations:

• If you prefer strawberries instead of raspberries the tastecraft freeze-dried strawberries make an excellent alternative.
• This tea can also be enjoyed hot. Just simply reduce the tea mix by half and steep in 3 cups of water. Add sugar to desired preference.
