| • | 2 oz. Nikia Coffey Japanese Vodka |
| • | 1 oz. The Perfect Purée Yuzu Luxe Sour blend, thawed |
| • | 1/2 oz. lime juice |
| • | 3/4 oz. Lemongrass and Shiso Syrup |
| • | 1 egg white |
| For the Lemongrass and Shiso Syrup: | |
| • | 15 g. lemongrass, broken up |
| • | 15 g. fresh shiso leaves |
| • | 2 cups water |
| • | 2 cups fine white sugar |
| Method for the Lemongrass and Shiso Syrup: | |
| 1. | Combine lemongrass, shiso, sugar and water in a pot. |
| 2. | Stirring occasionally, bring to a boil. |
| 3. | Cover and drop to simmer, let simmer for 3 minutes. |
| 4. | Refrigerate (don’t strain yet!) and let stand, sealed, for 24 hours. |
| 5. | Strain out lemongrass and shiso. |
| 6. | Store and refrigerate (lasts 2 weeks). |
| Method for the drink: | |
| Dry shake twice, then shake with a large rock. Strain and serve in a Coupe. Garnish with an Angostura Bitters swirl and jasmine flowers. | |
