• | 1 1/2 oz. Del Maguey Vida Mezcal |
• | 1/2 oz. Bärenjäger Liqueur |
• | 1/2 oz. Falernum #9 (recipe from “Beachbum Berry Remixed”) |
• | 1 oz. The Perfect Purée Prickly Pear Puree, thawed |
• | 1 oz. diced fresh pineapple |
• | 1/2 oz. rich honey syrup (2:1 honey to water) |
• | 1/2 oz. fresh lime |
• | 2.25 ” slices cucumber (skin removed) |
• | 10 fresh mint leaves |
• | 1/4 dropper Bittermen’s Hellfire Bitters |
• | 6 oz. crushed ice |
Method: | |
1. | Blend all ingredients – except ice – on high until liquified. Add ice and blend on high for 20 seconds. Pour unstrained into a large chilled margarita glass. Drizzle extra prickly pear puree around the center of the drink and swirl with a toothpick. Garnish with the tip of a mint sprig (3 or 4 leaves on a short stem) placed in the center of the drink. |
