Ingredients for Krog’s Grog:
• 1 ½ oz. Charbay Blood Orange Mandarin Vodka
• ½ oz. The Perfect Purée Thai Basil and Black Pepper blend, thawed
• ¼ oz. lime juice
• ¼ green peppercorn nuoc cham
• ⅛ oz. Coco Lopez
• fresh Thai basil
• cracked black pepper
Ingredients for green peppercorn nuoc cham:
• 1 oz. fresh ginger chopped
• 2 whole jalapeños chopped
• 2 oz. green peppercorns in brine
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup lime juice
• zest of 2 limes
Method for green peppercorn nuoc cham: Add all ingredients to a Vitamix blender and puree. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
Method for Krog’s Grog: Combine all ingredients (except fresh Thai basil and cracked black pepper) in a shaker with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds. Double strain over fresh ice in a tumbler. Garnish with fresh Thai basil and cracked black pepper.
