| • | 3 dashes of Miracle Mile Castilian Bitters |
| • | 1 oz. Aged Rum (we used 5 yr. Real McCoy) |
| • | 1/2 oz. French Agricole Rhum (we used Rhum J.M. VSOP) |
| • | 1/2 oz. Curaçao |
| • | 1 oz. Lime Juice |
| • | 3/4 oz. Thai Basil & Black Pepper Syrup |
| For the Thai Basil & Black Pepper Syrup: | |
| • | 1 part The Perfect Purée Thai Basil & Black Pepper blend, thawed |
| • | 1 part fine white sugar |
| Method for the Thai Basil & Black Pepper Syrup: | |
| Combine Thai Basil & Black Pepper blend and sugar in a container. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Store and refrigerate (lasts 2 weeks). | |
| Method for the drink: | |
| Shake all ingredients in shaker and strain. Serve in a large rocks glass with a large cube of ice. Sprinkle some ground black pepper on top. Garnish with a lime wheel and Thai basil sprig. | |
