Black Currant Affair

Ingredients for Black Currant Affair:
• 1 ½ oz. Famous Naked Malt
• ¼ oz. Punch Abruzzo
• ½ oz. black currant syrup
• ¾ oz. lemon juice
• Tastecraft Freeze-Dried Lime Slice

Ingredients for Black Currant Syrup:
• 1 part The Perfect Purée Black Currant Puree, thawed
• 1 part sugar
• 1 part water

Method for Black Currant Syrup:
Combine sugar and water in a pot and bring to a low boil. Allow the simple syrup to cool. In a large container, combine the simple syrup and Black Currant puree. Thoroughly mix using an immersion blender. Transfer fruit syrup into a sealed container and store in the fridge until ready for use.

Method for Black Currant Affair:
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with Tastecraft Freeze-Dried Lime Slice.
