Desert Bloom

Ingredients for Desert Bloom:
• 1 ½ oz. Diplomático Planas
• ¼ oz. Giffard Pineapple
• ½ oz. prickly pear syrup
• ¾ oz. lime juice
• Tastecraft Freeze-Dried Lime Slice

Ingredients for Prickly Pear Syrup:
• 1 part The Perfect Purée Prickly Pear Puree
• 1 part sugar
• 1 part water

Method for Prickly Pear Syrup:
Combine sugar and water in a pot and bring to a low boil. Allow the simple syrup to cool. In a large container, combine the simple syrup and Prickly Pear puree. Thoroughly mix using an immersion blender. Transfer fruit syrup into a sealed container and store in the fridge until ready for use.

Method for Desert Bloom:
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with Tastecraft Freeze-Dried Lime Slice.
